Diving the British Virgin Islands
Come and explore the highly-trafficked waters surrounding the British
Virgin Islands; a premier spot for water sports of all kinds. Diving
buffs have much to explore at spectacular coral reef and wreck sites
from within a gaping stretch of secluded coves, hidden bays, and peeking
cays from Jost van Dyke to Virgin Gorda. Sir Francis Drake Channel
is a frequented spot for yachters and for divers who travel for miles
to survey the unique corals and tropical fish teeming below its watery
scope. Swarms of exotic fish can be found darting around in the channel's
caves and pinnacles. Anegada is brimming with reefs and wrecks fit
for divers of all skill levels. The showpiece of the British Virgins
though is the sunken RMS Rhone buried below Salt Island.
